Question for the community

Postby CowboyJoe » Wed Oct 07, 2015 7:24 pm

Got a question for the community at large: I am planning on running a three-part "miniseries" Deadlands game at Genesis 16. Would people be more willing to spend a full day on it, or would they be happier having it spread out over three days? Thoughts? Opinions? Rotten tomatoes?

Personally, I think spread out over several days would probably go over better. In, fact I've seen it done by others that way in the past, though I admittedly don't know the success rate. The biggest issue I could foresee with running it all on one day is if people want to play that game, and are GM'ing, its potentially an entire day they can't run a game, which for me would be a harder sell.

Valid points, and I'm leaning that way anyway (a whole day running and not playing makes me twitchy :-) ). Is there anyone who can make an argument in favor of it being one (at that point 14 hour) monster session?
